I want to show a movie for my class. How do I see if we have a DVD or license for that movie?

The Library has downsized the DVD collection for titles that were not already designated as a Faculty Reserve item for the 2023-2024 academic year.

If you are interested in making a movie DVD available for viewing by your class, please email librarysupport@essex.edu to coordinate setting up the item for Faculty Reserve.

The Teach Act provides the ability to use a DVD for an in-person class.

Please note, there are several popular documentary and related movie titles available from the PBS collection accessible here at the Audio Visual materials tab, as well scholarly reviews of video/film content.
